Agitan

Agitan is a modern serif display font with delicate contrast, soft curves, and a polished fashion-led tone. It feels graceful and slightly feminine, which helps invitations, packaging, and brand marks look stylish without becoming overly ornate.

Areatype released it in 2024. The font includes 426 glyphs with Latin and Greek support, giving it more flexibility than a small decorative serif and making it useful for covers, labels, and multilingual headline work. The softer curves also keep invitations and cards from feeling stiff.

Agitan works well for logos, product packaging, book covers, greeting cards, shopping bags, and invitations that need a refined serif voice. It is free for personal use, with the full commercial version sold separately.
