Aceituna

The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog
Aceituna is a brush-pen display typeface by David Kerkhoff of Hanoded — the name means "olive" in Spanish, from the Arabic al-zeitoun. The letterforms are tall, narrow, and slightly uneven, created with a Japanese brush pen to capture a natural hand-drawn warmth.
This demo edition includes 135 Latin glyphs. The full family offers two styles. The brush texture shows clearly in each stroke, with organic thick-thin variation that gives the font a relaxed, artisanal personality. It reads best at larger sizes where the pen marks and slight irregularities stay visible.
Aceituna fits food packaging, restaurant menus, Mediterranean-themed branding, wedding stationery, and craft labels. Its earthy, handmade feel pairs well with natural textures and warm color palettes. A commercial license is available from Hanoded for professional projects.
