Bree Serif

The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog
Bree Serif is a friendly slab serif with soft curves, lively rhythm, and a warm informal voice. The shapes feel upbeat rather than stiff, which helps headlines and short text stay readable while still giving a page more personality than a neutral book serif.
Veronika Burian and José Scaglione released it through TypeTogether in 2011. The free TTF file includes 416 glyphs with Latin and Greek support, giving the family enough range for editorial work, interfaces, and short reading. That coverage and the balanced spacing make Bree Serif more flexible than a display-only slab.
Bree Serif suits magazines, websites, children's materials, packaging, menus, and branding that need a warm slab serif with good readability. It is available for personal and commercial use under the free license package.
