Argumend Slab Serif Font

The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog
Argumend is a bold slab serif with heavy terminals, broad weight range, and a clear editorial backbone. It has enough force for punchy headlines, but the family is also built to handle structured text, which makes it more flexible than a slab serif that only works in posters.
Ayça Atalay designed the family in 2021. The local OTF file includes 568 Latin glyphs, and the highlights multiple weights, true italics, uppercase ligatures, and OpenType features. That combination makes Argumend a strong working family for display and supporting text inside the same system.
Argumend works well for headlines, editorials, magazines, branding, and hierarchy-driven layouts that need a bold slab serif family. It is free for personal use, with the commercial version sold separately.
