About the font

The Minecraft font comes from the famous game Minecraft. It’s a popular computer game made by Markus Persson (2009), a Sweden-based game developer.

Mojang released this sandbox game in 2011 under the Mojang brand. This game lets players build huge blocks in a 3D environment, and they have to use their imaginations to do it.

The logos in the game are colourful pixel-like lines, much like the rest of the game’s components. The game logo represents his persona: the word “Minecraft” is composed of paving stones, much like all of the other components in the game’s universe.

The black edges of the grey letters are slanted to maintain the appearance of 3D depth. One of the most important villagers has taken refuge among the “A” beast creepers.

“Minecraft” is the typeface that is used in the Minecraft logo. For individual use only, Madpixel Designs offers My Crafter for free. Minecrafter is a typeface in the techno genre that can be used on any computer and is compatible with PCs, Macs, Linux, iOS, and Android devices.

Minecraft font brings the retro vibe. It has a vintage pixelated look. This aesthetic of the font makes it perfect for arcade games. Usage of this font could be on YouTube thumbnails, server logo, kid’s projects, design, etc.
