Initially named Folk, the typeface was renamed Londrina as a tribute to the city where the designer lived when the project joined the Google Fonts catalog, since the original name was already registered by another foundry. Londrina Solid represents the filled version of the broader Londrina system, which also includes Layer and SVG Color packs for more experimental applications.
