Katibeh

Katibeh is a headline typeface that fuses traditions of Naskh and Thuluth Arabic calligraphic scripts with contemporary design elements, created through a collaboration between Kourosh Beigpour for the Arabic design and Eduardo Tunni for the Latin companion, with font engineering by Lasse Fister. The small serif-like outstrokes give Katibeh an archaic quality reminiscent of historical manuscripts, while other contemporary design touches create a typeface that bridges tradition and modernity.
