Etherish is a condensed brush typeface designed by Widiyani and Suci Anita of NihStudio, an Indonesian design studio. The font delivers a hand-lettered aesthetic built around bold, textured brushstrokes that carry an unmistakable raw energy. Its character set of 180 glyphs covers a range of expressive lettering needs.
The design features rough edges, uneven baselines, and heavy ink textures that evoke a mysterious and intense atmosphere. Each letterform appears deliberately imperfect, channeling the spontaneous quality of physical brush calligraphy. The condensed proportions allow tight headline compositions without sacrificing visual impact.
