Dynalight

The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog
Dynalight is a dynamic script typeface designed by Brian J. Bonislawsky of Astigmatic. Available on Google Fonts under the SIL Open Font License, the design was inspired by a vintage luggage tag from the Southern Pacific 4449 Daylight steam locomotive. That heritage gives the font a retro, mid-century energy.
The letterforms feature sweeping, high-speed strokes with strong forward slant and exaggerated swashes. Thick-to-thin transitions create a sense of velocity, while the connected baseline keeps words cohesive. The overall rhythm feels confident and kinetic, as if each word is racing across the page.
Dynalight suits retro branding, diner signage, automotive graphics, and vintage-themed packaging. Its open-source availability and web-ready format also make it a practical choice for website headings and digital marketing materials that call for nostalgic, speed-inspired typography.
