De Valencia Monospaced Display Font

De Valencia is a monospaced display typeface designed by Manuel Fernandez del Campo Garcia. Originally created for the Mexican short film "A solas," the font carries a subtle, elegant, and minimalist character that reflects its cinematic origins. Its tall, narrow letterforms and generous kerning produce a striking visual presence on screen and in print.

The typeface features extremely wide default spacing designed specifically for display use. When the kerning is reduced, De Valencia transforms into a tall, thin typeface that excels at optimizing space in film credits and tight editorial layouts. This dual-purpose flexibility sets it apart from conventional monospaced designs.
