Chord Brights

The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog
Chord Brights is a layered display serif typeface with a retro style inspired by 1970s and 1980s signage, labels, and advertisements. Its letterforms have a nostalgic warmth with bold, confident shapes that stand out in headline applications. The layered system allows designers to create eye-catching combinations using fill, outline, inline, and extrude effects together.
Designed by Hendry Juanda of Letterhend Studio, a Yogyakarta-based foundry established in 2016, Chord Brights includes four styles: Regular, Extrude, Outline, and Inline. The font contains approximately 100 glyphs with multilingual support, PUA-encoded alternates, and decorative swashes in both OTF and TTF formats.
Chord Brights works well for logos, labels, magazine covers, invitations, packaging, and vintage-themed branding projects. The demo version is free for personal use, with commercial licensing available through Letterhend Studio.
