Chalmette is a handwriting calligraphy font with a simple yet stunning hand-lettered style. Its letterforms have a natural, flowing appearance that mimics realistic pen-on-paper calligraphy with authentic stroke variation. The design is warm, personal, and inviting, with gentle thickness changes throughout each letter.
Designed by Widiyanti and Sarah Suci P of RaisProject, Chalmette was released in 2021. The font contains 233 glyphs with full PUA encoded character support, including ligatures. It works in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, CorelDraw, and Microsoft Word on both PC and Mac platforms.
Chalmette is well suited for signature logos, wedding stationery, social media posts, product labels, and personal branding projects. Its natural handwritten quality also makes it popular for photography watermarks and boutique branding.
