The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog
Cabin is a humanist sans serif family with warm proportions, slightly rounded counters, and a clean modern finish. The letters feel open and readable, which makes Cabin practical for both body text and headings across screen and print.
Pablo Impallari designed it starting in 2010, with contributions from Igino Marini and Kalapi Gajjar-Bordawekar. The family includes eight styles across Regular, Medium, SemiBold, and Bold weights with matching italics, plus a variable font version with weight and width axes.
Cabin works well for web interfaces, editorial layouts, app design, startup branding, corporate text, and presentation slides that need a versatile humanist sans serif. It is available as a free open-source release through Google Fonts under the SIL Open Font License.
