Blogger Sans is a custom sans-serif typeface designed by Sergiy Tkachenko, originally created for FirstSiteGuide's website headlines and now available through Fontfabric. This font takes clear inspiration from the popular Dosis family while introducing distinctive characteristics that set it apart. The most notable feature is its counterintuitive weight system where bolder weights appear lighter and softer, giving headlines a gentler visual impact without sacrificing presence.
One of Blogger Sans' most practical design decisions involves the lowercase letters b, d, h, k, p, q, and y which feature shortened ascenders and descenders. This makes the font exceptionally well-suited for tight headline layouts and subheading arrangements where space is at a premium. The font family includes four progressive weight increments with eight total variants, providing designers with excellent flexibility in establishing visual hierarchy.
