Bearskin

Bearskin is a cartoon display font built for bold themed titles and playful graphic work. The shapes have a rougher novelty feel than a standard sans or serif, which helps posters and branding look more expressive and less polished.

David Kerkhoff released the demo in 2018. The OTF files include 135 Latin glyphs, while the full commercial version adds kerning, extra glyphs, and broader embedding rights for more complete use across finished projects.

Bearskin suits posters, logos, themed packaging, novelty branding, book covers, and large display text that need a playful custom look. Personal use is free, but apps, games, software, YouTube, and other commercial use require the proper license.
