Bandy is a slab serif with broad forms, steady weight, and a useful balance between display strength and reading comfort. It carries enough presence for covers and branding, but the structure is calm enough for short text settings too.
Panca Hasan and Nur Syamsi released the family in 2021. The OTF files include 457 glyphs across Latin and Cyrillic support, which makes Bandy more versatile than a narrow display slab when multilingual layouts are involved.
Bandy suits editorial layouts, branding, covers, posters, product labels, and short reading text that need a sturdy slab serif voice. This free download is for personal use, while commercial licensing is sold separately.
