Baloo is a heavy rounded display family with soft corners, playful weight, and a cheerful oversized feel. It looks bold and friendly at the same time, which helps headlines, educational graphics, and multilingual layouts feel lively without losing clarity.
Sarang Kulkarni and Ek Type released the family in 2015. The TTF includes 1412 glyphs across Latin and Greek support, and the broader Baloo project was designed to cover multiple Indic scripts with a Unicode-ready open family structure.
Baloo suits children's graphics, posters, brand mascots, classroom visuals, signage, and display titles that need a rounded playful voice. The family is available for personal and commercial use under its libre release.
