Anton is a bold condensed sans serif built for high-impact headlines. The shapes are narrow, heavy, and direct, which helps the font fill posters and banners with very little text. Even at that weight, the counters stay open enough for modern web use.
Vernon Adams designed Anton as a reworking of older advertising sans serifs. The TTF file includes 659 glyphs with Latin and Greek support, giving it a much broader working range than a narrow headline demo. The source text also ties the family to classic advertising models, which explains its strong condensed rhythm.
Anton works well for posters, sports graphics, advertising, banners, web headers, and bold display branding that need a condensed sans voice. It is available for personal and commercial use.
