Ablation is an all-caps sans serif with a rough, worn surface and a strong industrial tone. Even though the letterforms are simple and blocky, the textured edges give headlines a harder and more aggressive finish than a standard clean grotesque.

It includes 61 glyphs, while the describes a wider family with six weights and support for Latin and Cyrillic in the full version. That makes Ablation a better fit for bold branding and display work than for long reading text.
