About Facebook Font
Facebook is a unique instance because their font tends to be versatile enough already to complement several fonts. They adopted a font that was most previously observed as Klavika Bold till the mid of 2014. Although, there are slight differences between itself and the logo they use currently.
The new font has no name, at least not publicly, because it is not publicly available. It was created in-house with the help of Process Type Foundry’s Eric Olson.
As a result, you won’t be able to download the current Facebook logo font. Klavika Bold comes the closest (linked above). If you’re a skilled graphic designer, you could make a few tweaks to get it as near to their official font as possible.
Klavika is a sans serif font with a lot of features. Klavika follows a distinctively hybrid typographic approach that is unadorned, contemporary, and infinitely adaptable—a mix of humanistic and geometric elements with no allegiances to any one of them.
In tiny sizes, crisp and open kinds maintain the text legibly, but huge settings are anchored by straight-sided letters. OpenType features include small caps, old-style & tabular numbers, arrows (roman exclusively and aesthetic variants), and small caps (g, &).
Usage
Facebook is available for download and use for both personal and business purposes. All usage that does not create a financial gain in a business way is considered personal use, such as:
- Personal scrapbooking for yourself.
- Recreational websites and blogs for friends and family.
- Church, charity, and non-profit organization printing such as flyers, posters, and t-shirts.
Commercial use relates to how something is used in a commercial setting, such as:
- T-shirts, books, and items that will be sold for money.
- Flyers, posters for events that charge admission.
- Freelance graphic design work.
- Anything that will create direct or indirect income.
- Business cards, logos, advertisements, and company websites.

Facebook Font History
In 2005, Mark Zuckerberg, the CEO of Facebook, approached the Cuban Council, a design firm, and asked them to create a Facebook logo. The Cuban Council’s designers then utilized Klavika to develop the Facebook logo. However, in Klavika, modest but substantial adjustments were made to give the logo its distinctive appearance.
