About the font

The Eurostile font is a popular classic font. Aldo Novarese created this geometric sans-serif font in 1962. One of Italy’s most famous foundries, Nebiolo, commissioned Novarese to design a Eurostile font.

After Novarese helped Microgramma, he came up with Eurostile to replace it. Microgramma is an uppercase-only titling typeface that comes in a range of weights. A decade later, Novarese rectified this problem with Eurostile. It was a bold, condensed variation that included lowercase letters and seven typefaces. He named it the “European compact.”

Eurostile is popular among companies interested in display screens because of its lightweight attractiveness. It has a squarish shape, making it a standout option for headers and information. This typeface offers people a blend of professionalism and transparency.

The Eurostile typeface suggests letters generated with a pen or a steel punch because of its simplicity.

The major use of this type can be seen in headlines, signs, advertising, and display text.

Eurostile is all about being an attractive typeface with a clean, compact style. This style of design has the advantage of being readable in smaller sizes. The X height is large and rounded, which gives the typeface a unique look.

The straight lines reflect a more contemporary kind of building, one that is both aesthetically pleasing and functionally useful. The rounded edges and square outlines go back to the look of television displays from the 1950s and 1960s. Aside from various graphic design uses, it is often used in science fiction artwork and media sets, especially those created in the 1960s and 1970s.

You’ll discover a variety of squarish forms with rounded edges in this font to help you achieve a retro feel in your projects. This font has a distinct look and feels to it. If you need a font for headers, signboards, social media postings, posters, and banners and free usage in many other projects, this one is the ideal match.
