About the font
Banana Yeti Font is a brush script typeface with a condensed vertical slant, inspired by a hand-drawn example displayed in Speedball 1947 Textbook Manual by calligrapher Ross Frederic George.
The retro brush letter appearance of Banana Yeti is ideal for food packaging, display and logo design, and period advertising.
The Zetafonts Masterclass 2016 Team has totally revised and extended the original design to include three lighter weights and a monoline variation, as well as an extended character set with open type support for ligatures, alternatives, European languages, and terminating swashes.
Banana Yeti includes accents and diacritics for over 40 languages that use the Latin alphabet. It comes in four different weights, as well as a monoline weight.
For a more handmade, natural look, Banana Yeti makes extensive use of Open Type ligatures to offer swashes, arching letters, and a large range of ligature characters. Swashes are available via the glyph palette or by putting one to six underscores after the letter.
When you type an underscore before a phrase, the text will arch; close the arch with another underscore. The glyph palette or entering several ampersand characters can be used to access variant ampersands.
