Adelle Font

About Adelle Font

Adelle Font, a slab serif typeface was created by José Scaglione and Veronika Burian. It was released in 2009 by the TypeTogether foundry. Even though Adelle was created mainly for editorial use in magazines and newspapers. The web font version was modified lately to improve screen rendering. Adelle comes in seven weights with matching italics: thin, light, regular, semibold, bold, extra bold, and heavy. Adelle’s intermediate weights provide a neutral appearance when used in text sizes while offering the durability anticipated of a newspaper typeface. It behaves beautifully in continuous text, even in the most lenient editorial situations, because of its subtle appearance, superb texture, and slightly dark color.

Usage

Adelle fonts exhibit personality as they get larger in print, with a sequence of calculated particularities that make it easy to recall and distinguish. Adelle is a personality-packed slab serif font family that is both adaptable and authoritative.

All 14 styles support Cyrillic and monotonic Greek script languages. Russian designer Alexandra Korolkova consulted on the Cyrillic alphabet, while Greek expert Irene Vlachou developed the Greek script to ensure typographic conformity to current trends in each writing. The Adelle font family and the rest of our inventory have been optimized for today’s many screen usage.
